An Introduction
Bishop Westcott School, Lohardaga, was founded in February 2024 under the vision and leadership of The Rt. Revd. B.B. Baskey, Bishop of Chotanagpur, Church of North India (CNI), Diocese of Chotanagpur. The school is guided by the dedicated efforts of its Secretary, The Revd. Joljas Kujur, whose commitment to holistic education has laid a strong foundation for the institution’s values and direction.
Our school brings the spirit of academic excellence, value-based education, and service to the heart of Lohardaga.
Strategically located opposite the new District Collector's Office, our campus is in one of the most accessible and prominent areas of the city. It lies just 900 meters from Lohardaga Railway Station, ensuring easy connectivity while offering a peaceful and safe environment, ideal for nurturing young minds. The location combines convenience with calm — making it a perfect setting for focused learning and all-round development.
Though newly established, the school aspires to set high educational standards by following the ICSE curriculum, and currently caters to students from Nursery to Class 7. Our aim is not only to impart knowledge, but to shape individuals of character, vision, and purpose.
