Bishop Westcott School, Lohardaga is situated on a peaceful and expansive 10-acre campus, providing an ideal environment for academic learning, sports and holistic development. The campus currently features a spacious playground, dedicated PT and activity areas, open fields and well-organised spaces designed to support both curricular and co-curricular engagement. As part of its long-term vision for growth and excellence, the school is also developing a modern 18,000 square-foot academic building equipped with improved infrastructure and student-friendly learning facilities.
To further enhance the educational experience, several new facilities and initiatives have recently been introduced within the campus. A stationery store has been established for student convenience, while the computer laboratory has been upgraded with the addition of five new desktop systems to strengthen digital learning opportunities. For improved safety and discipline, surveillance cameras have been installed in every classroom as well as across the campus premises.
The school has also expanded its sports infrastructure with enhanced sports facilities and a dedicated sports room to encourage physical fitness, teamwork and discipline among students. In addition, various student clubs including the Nature Club, Science Club, Literary Club and Culinary Club have been introduced to promote creativity, innovation, leadership and experiential learning beyond the classroom.
Bishop Westcott School actively encourages participation in a wide range of games and co-curricular activities including badminton, yoga, karate, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, band, dance, singing and social service initiatives. To ensure academic support and individual progress, extra classes are also conducted for students whenever required. Through a balanced combination of modern facilities, value-based education and holistic opportunities, the school continues to create a nurturing and future-focused learning environment for every child.
